Fussy and Fancy Challenge - Sport

I had to quickly make this card before I flew off to Disneyland with my family as I realised that the new Challenge launches the day after I get back - Oh no this means that my holiday is over??  I hope I had a good time!  Anyway I probably have Jet Lag round about the time I will be posting this on FB so I will just leave it as pictures.  I quite enjoyed making this card.  I love colouring in, not colouring like most people think of it, but colouring as in changing the patterns on clothes and hats, adding in different features to what the original stamp had on it like a little bit of  doodling  here and there. OK easy you might say, well yes it is and that's why its so relaxing just doodling and colouring! Hope you like my Card for this challenge and hope you will join in yourself, if you nip along to the Fussy and Fancy Blog you will be able to see the cards made by the rest of our Design Team so go on treat yourself, join in the challenge!  The theme is "Sport"

So this is it - the school Gala is my theme for Sport.  I was very lucky to receive my Papercraft Essentials Magazine with this free set of stamps on just in time for my DT work.

I used torn paper to shade in the Sand and Sea with my SplodgeAway Mat then I actually tore off the bottom and deepened the edges with ink again and mounted it onto a full card this gives some depth to the Sand and Sea.

I find colouring skin a little "challenging" to say the least so I decided to do something completely different.  So I stamped the images again onto printed tissue paper and cut it out and pasted it back onto the card images, I think it works quite well, what do you think?

I then finished it off with a little doodling here and there, on the frame, the hat
above the flags etc.  I enjoyed making this card because this is the kind of colouring I first used to do years ago and it was nice to re-visit it.
So don't forget to check out the work from the rest of my Fussy and Fancy DT mates they have made some lovely samples for the theme so why not take a look for some inspiration and it would be great if you do join in the challnge.
Bye for Now
