Hi there just a quickie. I have entered a card into a brand new Challenge Blog over at Sweet Lilac Paper Flowers. Some of my friends are on the Design Team for Sweet Lilac Paper Flowers and when I looked at their beautiful cards for this months Challenge, "summer time" I realised that Sweet Lilac sell the flowers that I use the most. I like them because they are so pretty just on their own when in white but they are also versatile because you can stick them on your Gelli Plate, or spray Dylusions onto them or Stamp onto them. You can do all sorts with them. So I have done two out of the above 3 that I mentioned, and the only reason I didn't ink them too is because I am on holiday shortly and the ink takes a few days to wash off sometimes! I do know what I would like to try with them next though but I will save that for the next challenge.
So I have taken a few close up pictures for you to see the effects of the
Gelli, and Clarity Stamps,

I doubled layered the flowers here to show off more of the stamping.
I love to overlap stamping like this, and then raise one of the items above the other without anyone being able to "see the join" You can't see the join can you??
I stamped the flowers first and then worked out round about where the swirl would look best coming out from underneath the flowers. Archival Ink shows up really well on top of paint, (now I have my new one it does anyway)
To me this is what "pretty" is I love the depth of colour off the Gelli Plate, I love the black swirl on the white flower, I love the stamping and Gelli Print on the bottom flower - and non of this is me really its just a matter of having the right things to play with.
