Well : Did I make this? Yes I did and I love it, especially the flower I have been wanting to make flowers like that for a while now and I have seen Hels do it before but hadn't had a go. Now I have I will be making more. I just really enjoyed making these canvasses. I am going to enter it into the Sunday Stamper-week 267- Material GirlChallenge. I loved working on these canvasses and Hels taught us some really great techniques. So without further ado here it is :
I have been toying with the idea of doing canvasses on and off over the years but I honestly believe that weather you have the talent or not, if you go to workshops and learn some basic and then more advanced techniques you will definitely give yourself a head start. I will be playing a bit more and trying to perfect my backgrounds etc, I love to make my own toppers too and am looking forward to my Melt Pot class later in the year with Hels.
I love this saying by Tim Holtz - Ranger (Flower Technique shown by Hels) |
These Tags are great - from the Tim Holtz Range you get sticky plastic toppers that fit the metal tag exactly. |
These Rub On's are brilliant they stick to anything! By Guess Who? |
The background is a tag that I stamped and then blended ink over, I had to borrow Joan's Splodge Mat I just can't ink without it now! |
This is the middle section and I tried to carry on a connection from the left canvass through to the right canvass. |
I am not completely happy with this section so I think it might end up with a few more little bits on it. "Know when to stop"!! |
It was lovely to have a few crafty days with my friend Joan too who actually I call Crafty Joan!!! I also met some new ladies, some who I talk to on FB and some I have never talked to, we had a damned good laugh and they are all lovely!
