I have made a little picture tutorial for my main project which is a Button Purse. As I was looking for my buttons I could just see a lot of storage boxes and had no idea which one my buttons were in, so I decided I would make something to put them in that was a bit more obvious!? Products used mainly just my stash of buttons, some spotty card from Suziecraft and a fabric sheet I had been saving for a special project from Docraft. Main pattern was from a Serif Product Sheet.
I made a template from Serif Craft Artist |
Cover the Template with the sticky backed fabric. |
On the inside cover the ragged edges with card. |
Fold in the curved edges to form the side panels |
Glue the sides together. |
Measure some tape or ribbon to fit around the outside of the Purse and cut. |
Cover tape with red double sided tape and wrap around the outside of the Purse and bring edges into inside for neatness. |
Add some Velcro fasteners to the
inside lid and opposite spot on
purse. Best to do this with Velcro together
stick to one side and then close purse.
Then you know the fasteners will meet
up properly.
Decorate the outside as required. |
and fill your purse with your favourite buttons. |
THEN I MADE THIS
FROM THIS
