Exploding Wedding Card

Hi there, well what a fabulous weekend I have just had.  Our Pam & Dave's wedding went perfectly. Pam looked absolutely gorgeous and very happy.  I come from a very big family and then when you count in-laws who we just call extended family we are a huge family, "rent a crowd".  When I looked around the room at all the family, extended family and friends of Pam and Dave, who also are really well know to us all and are also like part of the family!  I just thought how lucky we are to all have each other and what a bunch of fun loving people they all are.  Even my youngest nieces (who are at that "don't show me up" stage) were giving it their all on the Dance Floor. As our Pam said "you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family, but if I could I would have picked this one"!!! Here Here.

Today though I am reminded of one thing AGE it doesn't like it when you prance around the dance floor like your some sort of top athlete for about 3 hours keeping up with all the young pups in the family and wearing heels higher than you have worn since your early 30s!!!!  So as long as I move every half hour or so I can just about unbend my knees and get my left hip to catch up with my right one!!  Still it was worth it.  Hey I even got a compliment on my "moves" from one of the young pups!!!

So I did promise you a peek at my Exploding Wedding Card which Pam and Dave were impressed with this is only my third exploding box and I must admit they are becoming my thing a bit, I really enjoy making them because once the main construction is done it s great fun decorating them.  I have done a baby one, a round music box one, this wedding one, I think next I will spice it up a bit and try an Altered Art Exploding Box - might even get a few springs in there somewhere. There I have set myself my next challenge. Hope you like my efforts .
