Claritystamp Challenge "Seasons"

 





Hi there, today sees the start of the new Clarity Stamp Challenge - "Seasons".  Our Claritystamp Challenge Design team have made some fantastic cards this month to inspire you. For my Challenge Card I used up some of my favourite Gelli Plate Prints.  I think that sometimes just the colours depict what you see in a picture so I have done Light and bright greens for Spring, because this is when flowers and trees start to bud.  I have done Warm Yellows and Red for Summer - speaks for itself really. Greens and Browns and Yellows for Autumn, although you do also see a lot of red normally too in autumn, in fact Autumn is the most colourful Season.  And for Winter I had a clean up sheet which just reminded me of Snow.

 

This is the Summer Gelli Print - part of this has also been used on a Wooden Tag.

This Tree stamp with the Birds coming from it is one of my Favourites of this year I just think it does and can say so much. So in Spring the Birds are flying into the Tree, in Summer the Birds are just hanging around taking care of their Babies in the Tree, in Autumn some Birds are migrating away from the Tree and in winter the Robins are just glad to have the Tree to themselves??
Mad? Me? I know??

Unfortunately Spring and Winter were clean up sheets and I didn't take a photo of them before I cut them up - but here is the finished Item.  I cut them into equal sizes and mounted them onto black card.  I felt that all the Tree Stamp needed was some nice backgrounds. Trees are at one with nature and are beautiful whatever the season I think - Ooohhhh a bit heavy there Madam?? xx

 

I would just like to say thank you to ALL OF MY FOLLOWERS OF THIS BLOG, IT HAS TAKEN ME TWO OR THREE YEARS TO GET TO THIS POINT BUT I NOW HAVE 100 FOLLOWERS!!!  I USED TO BE DANCING AROUND BECAUSE I HAD 3 - WHO WOULD WANT TO FOLLOW ME RIGHT? SO THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

 

I Remember complaining to Barbara Gray,  when she first started her Blog, about how many followers she got so quickly and suggesting that she could spare me her spare 33 people after the three hundred mark!!!  Well Look Out Barbara here I come, another three years and I might have 200 followers???? 

 

Of course Barbara now has 2,164 followers!!!!  
  But still, given time I might catch up don't you think??

 

I love doing this on Photo+  it makes it look all mystical doesn't it, in fact look - it looks like the world! xx

OK Seriously I appreciate every single person who follows my Blog and am "happy with my lot".xx As long as someone is listening to my Waffle I am fine.   

 

So anyway I have more to do today than there are hours so I must dash.  I hope you will join in on our Claritystamp Challenge, its good fun and a great prize, and my Team Mates have made some fantastic cards for you to be inspired by too.
