My DT work over at Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog

Today is the launch of my second DT Project over at the  Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog   I must admit I think there are some especially super cards entered by the DT on this challenge you really would enjoy looking at them.

Mine, well it may look a little out of place, but this is the way I roll at the moment?  (I got that saying from the James Arthur Song, love him) So Variety is good and there certainly is lots of that in the DT work so hopefully there is lots of inspiration for all those crafters who join our Challenge.
My Tag was for all those who are reminder on Valentines Day that they might need to make some extra effort to
rekindle their relationship a little. Or for those who are waiting for that special card to drop through the door.
So How did I make it?
Items Used.
PaperArtsy #10 Tag
SplodgeAway "Card King" Mask
Docraft Artiste Acrylic Paints. Princess Pink, Metalic Rose, Metalic Silver
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish : Snowflake, Little Black Dress, Crackle Glaze
Dylusions Bubblegum Pink & Black
Studio G Alphabet Stamps
Studio Multi Medium Matte
Method
I painted the whole of the Tag in the Fresco Black randomly brushed and rubbed in Crackle Glaze, once dry (this can be dried with a heat gun) I randomly painted the Pink and Rose paint so it would look all jumbled up. Where I had not put the crackle I sprayed the black ink throught he SplodgeAway mask at the bottom left and top of the tag.  I then roughed it all up a little more with the metalic silver and the snowflake white.  I had cut and split a heart for the bottom right corner and put stitches around, but then decided to put gems round one end to show a glimmer of hope that the heart could be mended. (is it just me???)

To make the writing stand out I whitened an area in the middle and used the alphabet stamps. I love using these stamps because it gives me the freedom to put my own sayings on my work. (this particular saying however belongs to Elton John and Kiki Dee).  To finish and to make the words stand out more I sprayed ink through the
Card King mask again, painted round it with the Pink Dylusions while it was still a bit wet to get the Drag effect over the hearts.  I then ripped it into pieces and picked two bits to highlight the wording.  They were then stuck down using the multi medium.
The flower at the top was in my stash which I just sprayed with the pink and black Dylusions to make it match.
I hope you like my Tag and I hope you will join our Challenge over at the Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog.
