Clarity Challenge Competition

Well this is my first entry for the
CLARITY STAMP CHALLENGE BLOG
well its actually the first Clarity Challenge set on the Blog too!!  Now I know this will stick out like a sore thumb but it is Clarity through and through.  All the stamps are Clarity and the background has a lot to do with clarity, its made using a Gelli Plate straight onto a card.  I don't know about you but when I get a lovely inky or painted messy background I just see pictures in it`  I stamped it up using 6 Clarity stamps in all, I like to try to use the stamps for something other than their pupose sometimes, for instance that lovely Feminine stamp has been disguised in all sorts of ways on my cards, my favorite was when I used it as a mainframe for a Dressform, actually its that orange card just over on the left of here.

The Children playing just looks lovely whatever you do with it and these trees and flowers quite often become the fill in sections of my cards I love them.

Once I was happy with this, I do like how the children dissapear into the background in some areas, I grunged it up a little more with a dry brush and then re-painted over the flowers with Dylusions Distress Inks, the paints are a mix of PaperArtsy and normal Acrylics and I edged it off with a Gold Leaf Paint.
It would be great to win this competition because I need loads more stamps to enter the next lot of competitions!!  But if I don't its fun trying.
Now I just have to work out how to get it on there?
By for now and Carry On Crafting

  2. Oh Sam I love it It is nice to see an inky messy background I love them but haven't mastered the technique yet - yet another reason to add a Gelli plate to my long list.
