Fussy and Fancy DT Project.
Well here it is my very first DT Project for the Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog.
When @Sally-Ann Haines asked me to join I felt so honoured then when I looked at the work on there a bit overwhelmed. I wondered if my work fitted in but when Sazzle said that its all about the love of craft that was it - because I do love to craft, I love to find that something in my work that no-one else has done yet or that colour mix that hasn't been thought of in a while or sometimes to just stick on my IPod - blast out a bit of music and just see what I have in front of me when I emerge from the music, Well I think I must have definately been playing a bit of Paolo Nutini when I made this one. But you know what, I gave myself no restrictions I grabbed my Favorite SplodgeAway Masks my new Lime, Chocolate and Orange Dylusions inks, and one of my most quirky PaperArtsy Stamps which I attached to the Stem of a flower from an IndigoBlu stamp also the Love to Create Stamp is from IndigBlu. I just sprayed through the masks here and there in the different colours randomly. One tip I got from Annette Lee was to dry your inks in-between colours so that you keep the true colour of the ink. Of course you can do messy and mingled too but I wanted to show the patterns and colours in all their beauty!
The SplodgeAway Masks I used was - Dotty the Lot, Circles and a Dollar Sign.
The Cone across the middle was a "Happy Accident", the paper I had cut off my A4 sheet looked pretty after all the spraying so I decided to make it into aflower. But as I rolled it and pulled it out slightly I couldn't decide which bits should be hidden? So I decided to hide none of them and stretched them out instead.
Anyway I do hope you like it, I might decide to be a little more sedate next time. Please nip along to the http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ and have a go to see what you com up with - the theme is Circles! There is a really good prize.
Thank you for visiting my Blog - all comments are welcome - well the nice ones are.
Bye for now. Sam
